SB5 Beti is built for hard-charging women who are looking for the ideal trail bike. What makes the Beti different? A custom-tuned Fox shock for lighter weight riders, slightly narrower (but still plenty wide) handlebars for narrower shoulders, and shorter crank lengths on the smaller frame sizes. Shorter cranks make it easier to spin and carry momentum, and they improve clearance in technical sections. The SB5 Beti Carbon series frame is 6.27 lbs and preserves Yeti performance at a more aggressive price point by using a slightly modified carbon material and different layup. Yeti’s Switch Infinity suspension platform and smart frame design grants you the trail-ruling trinity of deep travel support with small bump sensitivity and rock-solid climbing. Add 5 inches of ample Fox-supplied travel to the equation, and you have a frame that is nearly unstoppable. SRAM’s 12-speed GX Eagle drivetrain lets you blitz up the incline before you point it downhill, while Guide R brakes scrub speed excellently on the descent. The 27.5-inch DT Swiss wheels roll on grippy Maxxis Ardent tires for bite over loose and technical terrain. Yeti rounds out this shred-ready build with a women’s WTB saddle and a Fox Transfer dropper post, so you stay comfortable and in control.
