About Me

I have had my Giant Road E+ for about a month and put about 500 miles on it. I really wanted an ebike with drop bars as it is much more comfortable being able to place your hands in different positions. The battery life with the 500 wh battery is excellent. Of course distance is related to the amount of climbing, but recently I rode 45 miles with 2800 ft of climbing and had 25% of the battery left at the end of the ride. I especially like the double chain ring. This makes it possible to have an extended range of gears and it makes the bike suitable for steep climbs or high speed on the flatter ground up to 28 miles per hour. I have only used the two lower levels of power and still have not found thee need to use the highest level of power. I keep up with my stronger friends on their regular road bikes without difficulty. (I have two Haibikes, and this Giant is the clear winner!)
