SB4.5c stands for Super Bike, 4.5-inches of travel, built from carbon. The secret to its incredible performance sits covertly in the Switch Infinity link, which utilizes a translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel, providing excellent pedaling performance and unbelievable support as it gets deeper into the travel. The SB4.5c is optimized for 29-inch wheels and the rest of the bike has a big personality to match. The pedaling platform is extra stiff, so out of the saddle climbs feel effortless. While descending, it’s a serious trail bike: open it up and let the big wheels roll. Fox Racing manufactures the rugged hardware that makes up Switch Infinity and a Fox Float Factory DPS shock works perfectly with the system to deliver a dream-like ride. It's completely independent of pedaling forces and rider movements, so it works whether you're mashing the pedals or hard on the brakes. Up front, the Fox 34 Factory fork shreds gnarly descents with 140mm of travel, while out back, SRAM's 1x X01 drivetrain delivers smooth, crisp shifting to get you up and over the steep stuff. Other frame details include a tapered head tube, custom chain-slap guards, and a super stiff Boost 148 x 12mm rear thru-axle.
